The National All Breeds Junior Heifer Show is proud to partner with Branded Ag to offer the BA Internship Scholarship 2026.

Designed to empower the next generation of agricultural communicators, this unique opportunity provides hands-on experience in livestock photography, content creation, marketing, branding, and event coverage.

Working alongside the Branded Ag team, successful applicants will gain practical industry experience, build valuable skills, and develop a greater understanding of agricultural media and marketing within the livestock sector.

👤 Who Can Apply?

✅ Must be a registered competitor at the 2026 National All Breeds Junior Heifer Show

✅ Must be 16 years of age or older as at 3 September 2026

✅ Passionate about agriculture, communications, marketing, photography, videography, or content creation

✅ Willing to learn and actively participate in the internship experience

📸 About the Internship

The BA Internship Scholarship is designed to provide practical experience and mentorship in agricultural media, marketing, and branding.

Successful applicants will gain exposure to livestock photography, content creation, editing, event coverage, and agricultural marketing while working alongside the Branded Ag team.

The program provides valuable real-world experience while helping participants develop skills that can be applied across agriculture, business, communications, and media careers.

💼 What's Included?

The successful recipients will receive:

  • Opportunity to shadow a Branded Ag team member at a livestock show or event anywhere in Australia
  • Practical experience in livestock photography, content creation, and editing
  • Exposure to agricultural marketing, branding, and client engagement
  • A 40% youth discount on Branded Ag services for 12 months
  • Ongoing mentorship and support from the Branded Ag team
  • Accommodation provided for recipients over 18 years of age during approved internship activities

🏆 When Will the Recipients Be Announced?

The two successful recipients will be announced during the 2026 NABJHS Presentation Ceremony on Sunday, 6 September 2026.

📜 Terms & Conditions

  • Two internship scholarships will be awarded.
  • Applicants must be 16 years of age or older as at 3 September 2026.
  • Applicants must be registered competitors at the 2026 National All Breeds Junior Heifer Show.
  • Applications close at 12:00 PM on Monday, 6 July 2026.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be required to participate in an interview prior to NABJHS.
  • Internship activities must be undertaken within 12 months of the 2026 NABJHS event.
  • The internship scholarship is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Accommodation will be provided for recipients aged 18 years and over.
  • If a recipient is under 18 years of age and participating in on-site internship activities, a parent or guardian must accompany them. Accommodation costs for the accompanying parent or guardian will be shared equally between Branded Ag and the parent or guardian.
  • Personal equipment such as cameras, laptops, and editing devices is recommended but not required.
  • Branded Ag reserves the right not to award a scholarship if no suitable applicant is identified.
  • Internship activities, locations, and timing will be determined by Branded Ag in consultation with the successful recipients.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by Emily Hurst and the Branded Ag team.

Applicants will be assessed on:

  • Written application responses
  • Communication skills
  • Passion for agriculture
  • Interest in media, marketing, branding, photography, or content creation
  • Clarity of goals and ambitions
  • Interest in business, stud, or personal brand development
  • Interview performance

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in an interview prior to the National All Breeds Junior Heifer Show.

Held annually at the scenic Blayney Showground in New South Wales, NABJHS offers a four-day program filled with educational workshops, practical demonstrations, and competitive activities.
