About NABJHS

On behalf of the National All Breeds Junior Heifer Show (NABJHS) Committee, we welcome your involvement with our 2023 Junior Heifer Show.

It’s fantastic to be back making preparations for 2023 off the back of our very successful event in 2022. With a specific focus on beef cattle production, The National All Breeds Junior Heifer Show offers an

extensive three-day program of educational and interactive learning activities, workshops and competitions to encourage youth involvement within the agricultural industry.

The NABJHS Committee try to ensure no one is excluded from access

to our show, catering for all breeds of cattle, both stud and

commercial as well as the inclusion of a schools section to encourage

wider participation. Our competitors are aged between five to

twenty-five years, with varied levels of experience. Our novice

competitors are buddied up with a senior and more experienced competitor to enhance their learning and networking opportunities.

All competitors are encouraged to be involved with all activities.

The NABJHS Committee prides itself on providing our industry’s youth with relevant and innovative information that will inspire and guide them to become the next stud masters, stock agents, rural bankers, farm managers, marketing and media managers and so much more.

The NABJHS is a not-for-profit organisation, and our Committee is

made up of a group of like-minded volunteers who share a passion for

nurturing youth involvement within the agricultural sector. Attached

are our Partnership Opportunities available for the 2023 NABJHS. We

welcome and appreciate any contribution towards our show.
